Bachelor Button, also known as Cornflower, flowers float above tall fragile stems, and come in a range of blues, purples, and pinks. If flower heads are left they will freely self-seed for the following season but are not invasive.

Bloom time: Early spring thru late summer and into fall as it withstands frosts.

{how to plant} 
Sow seeds outdoors where desired in fall or from several weeks before the last spring frost up until mid summer. Plant seeds 1/8" -1/4" deep. Have blossoms throughout the summer by making successive plantings.
