{darkibore kale}
Brassica oleracea
20+ seeds

This hardy biennial has beautiful curly blue green leaves and is a delicious and nutritious vegetable. A good substitute for winterbore kale. Start planting kale in early spring before the end of frosts. Kale grows well all the way through summer without bolting. It will continue to grow through the fall and even when the snow starts falling. With enough snow to insulate it this hardy plant will survive the winter and give you a fresh harvest early spring. Warmer climates will have no problem extending darkibore kale's season.
