Tropaeolum majus
10+ seeds

These edible flowers and leaves provide beautiful garden color and also add zest and color to salads. The unripe seed pods can be harvested and pickled with hot vinegar sometimes used in place of capers.

Nasturtiums are considered widely useful companion plants. They repel many cucurbit pests like squash bugs, cucumber beetles, and several caterpillars. They have similar benefits for brassica plants especially broccoli and cauliflower. They also attract beneficial, predatory insects as well as hummingbirds.

{how to plant}
Plant seeds outdoors where desired after frost danger has passed, or start them indoors 4 weeks before the last frost date. Plants started indoors may not grow as vigorously as direct seeded plants. Roots do not like to be disturbed so transplant with care. Cover seeds with ¼”- ½” soil as light inhibits germination.

Seeds are packaged in 100% recycled, 20% post-consumer waste brown kraft envelopes. Thank you for recycling again.
