{how to plant}
Seed should be started indoors 6-8 weeks before the last frost. Seedlings can be transplanted once all danger of frost has passed. Plant seeds 1/8" deep in pots, keep well watered to ensure proper germination. The minimum soil germination temperature is 50ºF but seeds may take up to 30 days to germinate at this temperature. The ideal germination temperature for tomatoes is 75ºF. Adding too much compost or manure to freshly transplanted seedlings may cause an abundance of top green growth with little fruit set. Adding a layer of compost to the soil once flowers have appeared will add a nutrient boost to help encourage growth of tomatoes. Tomato plants may need to be staked or caged in order to keep tomatoes off the ground and prevent rot.

Seeds are packaged in 100% recycled, 20% post-consumer waste brown kraft envelopes. Thank you for recycling again.
